The business owner lies about their capability. We were charged an additional fee to have the phone fixed by the end of the next business day. The phone is still not fixed heading into the 3rd business day. They do not even have the part to fix the phone. But charged more for next day service. They then refused a refund. Appetite for repair on Silas Creek has phenomenal customer service.
Paid a $40 deposit for a tablet. Was told it would be $150 to fix in 2 days. I called on day 3 and this man didn't even know who I was. I decided to look at the reviews because I didn't get a professional vibe from this guy. After reading the reviews I decided not to pay the rest of the money. I wanted to see how long it would take for him to call me. He never called me to pick it up. I would love to rate ZERO STARS! I wish we’d read the terrible reviews before giving this guy our money. The young man with the dreads was terrible to us. I feel scammed out of $110… our phone is in worse shape than when we dropped it off.. and I regret ever considering supporting this small business. He was shady, cash only, no receipt, rude attitude, and terrible work. NEVER GO TO 88 REPAIRS!

So my initial experience of this place was ok. I went there, got a quote to fix my 13 pro back glass for $200. When compared to Best Buy’s price at $480, it was way better…..the price, at least. I asked a few questions (do you guys offer limited warranty, do you guys safely remove the damaged glass, does it still hold up to water, etc) and the guy seem slightly annoyed at these questions.
